Error description

• IBM Storage Protect Plus restore of Oracle Real Applications
  Clusters (RAC) to a new Oracle server fails with :
  
  CTGGF0121 Pre-restore validation failed: [Errno 2] No such file
  or directory
  
  
  
  The following errors will be seen in the job log:
  
  CTGGF0121 Database YOURDB: Pre-restore validation failed:
  [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
  '/YOUR/PATH/TO/ORACLE/USER/oradism' The database cannot be
  restored because one or more prerequisite checks failed.

  CTGGA1615 Prerestore validation failed for database (YOURDB) on
  server (YOURORACLESERVER1)
  CTGGA1615 Prerestore validation failed for database (YOURDB) on
  server (YOURORACLESERVER2)
  CTGGA1613 Prerestore validation failed for databases (YOURDB)
  CTGGA1110 No selected item is recoverable
  .
  
  The problem is caused by the IBM Storage Protect Plus Oracle
  agent attempting to find the oradism file in the same location
  
  as the source Oracle home. If the directory structure is
  different from the source Oracle server, then the issue will
  appear.

Problem conclusion

• This problem has been fixed so that when attempting to restore
  an Oracle database to an alternate server, the agent will check
  in the target Oracle Home for the oradism binary.
