APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After taking backups, based on SLAs set in the vCenter, it is
expected that it is possible to search VMs in the restore panel
based on the same TAGs.
When searching on the TAG name in the restore wizard however, no
VMs are found.
When browsing TAG inventory in the restore wizard, the VMs are
seen as expected.

  • Browse the TAG inventory in the restore panels or search on the
VM name.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus VMware restore wizard's select source
step has been fixed to properly search VMs by tags and
categories.
