APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The global cache resource manager does not wait for the
    flow/application to shutdown during Integration Server teardown.
    Therefore, if an Integration Server configured for global cache
    has a flow that uses the cache, stopping this Integration Server
    may be delayed and an error message such as "BIP2804E: The
    integration node has detected that the Integration Server has
    not shutdown" may be displayed.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V12 using global cache
    configuration.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The global cache resource manager does not wait for the
    flow/application to shutdown during Integration Server teardown.
    Therefore, if an Integration Server configured for global cache
    has a flow that uses the cache, stopping this Integration Server
    may be delayed and an error message such as "BIP2804E: The
    integration node has detected that the Integration Server has
    not shutdown" may be displayed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product  has been modified such that it does not throw the
    BIP2804E when the integration server configured with global
    cache is being shutdown.
