IT43584: MICROSOFT SQL BACKUPS DURATION SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED AFTER UPDATE TO VERSION 10.1.13

Error description

• The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Microsoft SQL backup job lasts
  much longer than before after the update to version 10.1.13.
  Comparing the job logs, the transfer rate is not impacted but
  the last postbackup step which is new with version 10.1.13 and
  later is lasting hours.
  One example has been observed where the backup initially lasted
  2,5 hours in version 10.1.12 and then jumped to 9,5 hours when
  using version 10.1.13.
  The additional time is seen in the postbackup stage where post
  backup processing is executed multiple times for the same
  resources were it is expected to be only executed once per
  protected resource.

Problem conclusion
