  to install OSSM on VADP system.
  
  The documentation needs to be updated to document the
  restriction.

Problem conclusion

• In the Creating VADP proxies for OSSM topic of online product
  documentation for IBM Spectrum Protect plus 8.1.14, the
  instruction to use a username was not clear and limitation to
  use a username was not mentioned. We have updated the Creating
  VADP proxies for OSSM topic, to add the following note and
  instruction:
  
  "Important: If you are registering the VADP proxy for OSSM for
  the first time, do not select the check-box for Use existing
  user to enter existing VADP proxy credentials that you have
  created earlier. Enter the Username and Password as described
  below."
  
  "Enter the username of a local user account that has the
  passwordless sudo privileges, which you created for VADP proxy.
  The username of a domain user is currently not supported."

  IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.15 in the following topic URL:
