Error description

  • The -qm flag added in 9.3.1 of the amqsmon  sample program does
    not work as expected and results in a usage error as below.
    
    $ ./amqsmon -m TESTQMGR -t accounting -qm TESTQMGR

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All IBM MQ users, who run the amqsmon sample program with -qm
    flag see usage error.
    
    
    Platforms affected:

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    A coding error caused the variables related to the -qm flag to
    be not initialized correctly in the amqsmon sample program.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The coding error in the amqsmon sample program has been
    corrected so that the variables related to the -qm flag are
    initialised correctly.
