APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Flow node level UDP PropertyValue is not created while parsing
the CMF and hence the broker.xml file will not have a property
created for a user defined property set on an inlined subflow.


As a result, the error "java.lang.ClassCastException:
java.lang.String incompatible with java.lang.Boolean'" is thrown
when CAST to Boolean operation is performed on a user defined
property set on an inlined subflow (.CMF).

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
While parsing an inlined subflow (.CMF file), flow node level
UDP PropertyValue is not created and hence the broker.xml does
not have a property created for a user defined property
configured on an inlined subflow.

As a result, when CAST to BOOLEAN operation is performed on a
User Defined Property configured on an inline subflow (.CMF
file), it fails with an error :

 "java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String incompatible
with java.lang.Boolean" .

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Product is modified so that it correctly performs CAST to
BOOLEAN operation on a User Defined Property configured on an
inline subflow.
