Error description
Database sessions are left open after failing to make a globallay coordinated (XA) connection when the 'pre-connect' option on a node is selected. This can eventually lead to resource exhaustion in the database preventing new connections being made to it.

**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All Users of App Connect Enterprise who use Globally Coordinated (XA) Transactions and have selected the 'connect before flow starts' option to connect to their database before message processing begins. Platforms affected: AIX, Linux on Power platform, Linux on x86-64 platform, Linux on zSeries platform, Windows on x86-64 platform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a message flow that uses global coordination (XA) and has the 'connect before flow starts' option selected is redeployed App Connect Enterprise could fail with an error from xa_open. When this failure occurs a connection in the database is left open for each thread that was allocated to the flow. This can eventually lead to the database being unable to accept any new connections.
Problem conclusion
