  • nodejs process terminates on timeout error with below error
    stack in stderr.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All Users of App Connect Enterprise V12 with WEBUI requests
    failing because of timeout
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When WEBUI times out, possibly due to network issues, nodejs
    process crashes with below error  as seen in  stderr file
    
    _http_outgoing.js:561    throw new ERR_HTTP_HEADERS_SENT('set');
    
    Further requests are not fulfilled unless broker is restarted.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been modified such that nodejs process no longer
    crashes on WebUI timeout and further requests are accepted.
