APAR status

Error description

  • Daily copy backup jobs of SQL databases are successful. But
    "Database SLA Policy RPO Compliance" report shows all Databases
    in Not In Compliance (Object Storage Copy). The field "Out of
    Compliance Reason" displays "Defined RPO not satisfied". For
    example, Defined RPO for SLA Policy Silver run Every 1 Day(s)
    not met.

Problem conclusion

  • The Database SLA RPO Compliance report displayed inaccurate
    data, including databases being out of compliance when they were
    actually in compliance and databases being in compliance when
    they were actually out of compliance. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus
    10.1.16 refined the logic for calculating database RPO
    compliance, resulting in more accurate compliance reports.
