APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In 10.5.0.3 a new feature was added to the API Plan which would
allow plan-scoped scale assembly limits; but a misconfiguration
of the limits could result in the gateway restarting.

Local fix

  • Verify that the Rate Limit Definition matches the Plan rate
limit type.

Problem summary

  • Datapower may restart if the user sets the wrong type of
RateLimitDefinition in the plan-scoped scale assembly limits to
the API Plan.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • To correct the wrong RateLimitDefinition type.
