IT42702: MONGODB TEST RESTORE FAILS WITH TRANSPORT ENCRYPTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus MongoDB test restore fails, if
  transport encryption is enabled in the vSnap server.
  The restore reports errors are follows:
  
  Error    CTGGA4187     [example.server.com] Return code 32: sudo
  -n mount -t cifs '<share mp>' '<share name>' -o
  username='<name>','uid=...' A command run on the server has
  exited with an error return code.
  Error    CTGGA4188     [example.server.com] Output ['mount
  error(13): Permission denied', 'Refer to the mount.cifs(8)
  manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs) and kernel log messages
  (dmesg)'] Output from the failed command.
  Error    CTGGA4202     [example.server.com] Cannot mount the
  CIFS (SMB) share [vpool1_fs10]. The CIFS (SMB) share to the
  vnsap cannot be mounted due to missing cifs-utils module.
  Error    CTGGA4030     [example.server.com] Failed to mount
  share <share name>. The share could not be mounted because
  errors occurred during the mount process.
  
  Affected versions: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.13
  

Local fix

• Use Production Restore or disable transport encryption on the
  vSnap server
