Error description

  • mqsireportproperties command doesn't work against stand-by node.
    The command will throw below error:
    
    BIP8255E: The multi-instance integration node '<NODENAME>' is in
    standby mode on queue manager ''.
    This integration node is in standby mode; the command you issued
    cannot be processed when an integration node is in standby mode.
    
    The command should be issued on the active multi-instance
    integration node
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11.0 and V12.0 who used
    mqsireportproperties command.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When  mqsireportproperties command is run against a standby
    integration node, following error occurs:
    
    BIP8255E: The multi-instance integration node  is in standby
    mode on queue manager .
    This integration node is in standby mode; the command you issued
    cannot be processed when an integration node is in standby mode.
    The command should be issued on the active multi-instance
    integration node.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The command mqsireportproperties has been modified such that it
    now displays the top level properties for the   standby
    integration node in a multi-instance setup.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
