IT42387: HOST CONNECTION PERFORMANCE NOT VISIBLE FOR ALL EXPECTED HOSTS, WHEN VIEWED FROM I/O GROUPS PERFORMANCE VIEWS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Storage Insights displays only a fraction of known hosts when
  viewing host connection performance under the I/O Group
  performance views, for SVC/Spectrum Virtualize devices.
  Evidence of this problem can be seen when you select a
  Spectrum Virtualize device, select "I/O Groups" under
  "internal resources" and view the performance tab. From
  there, right-click on the I/O group of interest, and select
  "view host connection performance". The resulting list is
  incomplete.
  In an observed example, one host was displayed when
  55 hosts are known to exist in that I/O Group.

• An alternate path to viewing host connection performance exists:
  
  Starting from the device's I/O Groups resources view,
  right-click to view performance.
  
  Next select the I/O Group and right click to view node
  performance.
  
  Then select both nodes and right-click to view host connection
  performance.
