APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If an HTTPInput node flow fails to process the request within
    the configured maximum client wait time, the brokerwide
    httplistener logs "BIP2113E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal
    error: diagnostic information 'MQGET failed', '2', '2033'" to
    the system log file. But this error entry does not have any
    information about the failing flows URL, the error is of no use
    to figure out the failing message flow name and correct the
    situation.

    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11.0 and V12.0 using
    the brokerwide listener.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    If an HTTPInput node flow fails to process the request within
    the configured maximum client wait time, the brokerwide
    httplistener logs "BIP2113E: IBM App Connect Enterprise internal
    error: diagnostic information 'MQGET failed', '2', '2033'" to
    the system log file. But this error entry does not have any
    information about the failing flows URL, so the error message is
    of no use to figure out the failing message flow name and to
    correct the situation.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product now introduced a new environment variable
    'MQSI_BIPHTTPLISTENER_ENABLE_TIMEOUT_LOGGING' to log additional
    information about timed out http request messages. Once the
    environment variable is set, a BIP3199E and BIP2113E message get
    logged to the system log file during the timeout processing by
    the brokerwide listener.
    
    BIP3199E: ( BKR12.HTTPListener ) An error has occurred when
    accessing the IBM MQ queue ''SYSTEM.BROKER.WS.REPLY'' with
    ''MQGET for correlid :
    414d5120514d47523132202020202020ca9bfe6401410040''. The IBM MQ
    completion and reason codes of 2 and 2033 may provide
    information on the exact nature of the error.
    
    BIP2113E: ( BKR12.HTTPListener ) IBM App Connect Enterprise
    internal error: diagnostic information ''URL : /timeout'',
    ''Timeout. The Broker BKR12 did not provide a response within
    the specified time interval (5 seconds).'', '500'.
