IT42223: MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE IS NOT HELPING TO SET FILE PERMISSION FOR EVENTS LOG FILES

Error description

• It may require to give 'rw' permission on Integration Server's
  events log files for other users and currently it is not
  possible to set permission on events log files by using
  MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK environment variable.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11.0 and V12.0 using
  MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK environment variable.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The permissions of 'others' for integration server's events log
  files should be able to set by using the environment variable
  MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK, but currently it is not setting the
  permissions based on the value configured for MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK
  environment variable.
  

Problem conclusion

• The permissions for events log files of integration server can
  be set using MQSI_SET_DFE_UMASK environment variable.
