Error description
The SOAPRequest node has a 'Request timeout' property to specify the number of seconds that the node waits to receive the reply from the remote server. But even if the remote server is not reachable the node may still wait for the configured 'Request timeout' value as there is no option to specify the connectTimeout value for the socket connection creation.

Problem conclusion
The product has now introduced a 'connectTimeout' property to specify the timeout value for the socket connect calls made by the SOAPRequest/HTTPRequest nodes.
