IT41195: MONGO LOGS ARE NOT COLLECTED IN IBM SPECTRUM PROTECT PLUS LOG BUNDLE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The mongo folder in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus log bundle only
  contains a zero byte mongo log. The mongod and mongod2 log files
  under /data/log/mongo have incorrect 600 permission as
  following:
  
  
  -rw-------. 1 mongod mongod 4075 May 19 11:58 mongod2.log
  -rw-------. 1 mongod mongod 4124 May 19 11:57 mongod.log
  
  
  So they are not gathered in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus log
  bundle with following error in virgo log:
  
  
  [date-time] ERROR pool-58-thread-1
  com.catalogic.ecx.log.collect.input.LazyFileInputStream
    Failed to find file: /data/log/mongo/mongod2.log.
  java.io.FileNotFoundException: /data/log/mongo/mongod2.log
  (Permission denied)
  
  
  Versions affected: 10.1.9 and later versions
  

Local fix

• Manually change all log files under /data/log/mongo to 644
