APAR status

Error description

  • When the MaxKeepAliveRequests property is set to 1, the
    "Connection: Close" header is not set on HTTP Replies meaning
    that the client may try to re-use the existing connection only
    to find it closed by the listener.

Problem summary

    All users of App Connect Enterprise v11 or v12 using HTTPInput
    or SOAPInput Nodes.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When the MaxKeepAliveRequests property is set to 1, the
    "Connection: Close" header is not set on HTTP Replies meaning
    that the client may try to re-use the existing connection only
    to find it closed by the listener.
    

Problem conclusion

  • When the MaxKeepAliveRequests property is set to 1 the
    Connection: Close header is now added to any response message.
