IT41042: PUBLICATION NODE NOT FINDING DEFAULT QM DETAILS

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Publication node is not picking up the default QM attributes
  (such as the QM name) for unknown reasons in v12 after migration
  from v8 (or possibly v10). The node has been created, and other
  nodes in the server are using MQ without any issues, but the
  Publication node is not being given the MQ connector attributes.

  from IIB version 10 or earlier and using the Publication Node to
  publish messages to IBM MQ.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When migrating from an earlier version of IBM Integratio Bus and
  attempt to publish over MQ via the Publication Node results int
  he error:
  
   BIP2214E ConfigurationException
  MQConnectorFactory::validateSharedConnectorProperties 'Attribute
  value mandatory' ['destinationQueueManagerName', 'MQ']
  
  The problem is caused by the Publication Node failing to pickup
  the default queue manager properties correctly.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product now now picks up the MQ connector attributes in the
  Publication Node and the BIP2214 error no longer occurs.
