Error description

  • In a C user defined node the Table properties on the node are
accessed using the cniGetComplexAttribute() function. The
functions cniElementType() and cniElementValueType() should both
return the same value when called on a CciElement that is a
child of an individual Row element in the Table property. This
differs from CciElements from message trees where
cniElementType() returns the type used by the parser for that
specific element, and cniElementValueType() returns the actual
    type of that element's value.

In ACE v11 and v12 cniElementType() will incorrectly return
CCI_ELEMENT_TYPE_NAME_VALUE for all elements under each row in a
    Table property.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
In a C user defined node the Table properties on the node are
accessed using the cniGetComplexAttribute() function. The
functions cniElementType() and cniElementValueType() should both
return the same value when called on a CciElement that is a
child of an individual Row element in the Table property. This
differs from CciElements from message trees where
cniElementType() returns the type used by the parser for that
specific element, and cniElementValueType() returns the actual
    type of that element's value.

In ACE v11 and v12 cniElementType() will incorrectly return
CCI_ELEMENT_TYPE_NAME_VALUE for all elements under each row in a
    Table property.

Problem conclusion

  • The cniElementType() function will return the same value as
cniElementValueType() for the individual complex attribute
properties as in earlier versions of the product.
