Error description

  Host On-Demand - All currently supported versions.

  HOD Deployment Wizard installed in User mode does NOT have a
  windows start item available.
  
  Detailed description:
  
  Attempting to install HOD Deployment Wizard (DW) downloaded from
  V14.0.5 installed on z/OS.
  
  User does not have permission to use the Admin version of IBM
  Installation Manager (IM) and is compelled to  install HOD DW
  using the User mode under IBM's Installation Manager.
  
  Under the above condition (ie, User mode NOT Admin mode!) the
  product installs finely with no error messages or issues.
  
  
  However when user wants to use the HOD DW tool it is NOT
  available under the Windows start menu as it should be.
  
  The HOD DW tool should NOT require the Admin version of IM to
  provide a valid Windows Start menu item.
  
  As such one is  unable to use thisHOD DW tool currently because
  there is no documented way to create a shortcut to execute the
  utility
  
  and none gets created.

  Customer deployed IM user mode and installed Deployment Wizard
  utility which comes along with the Host On-Demand package. It
  was installed successfully, but shortcut was not created under
  Windows Start menu.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to address the issue from HOD. Fix
  scheduled for next Refresh pack/ Fix pack release.
