APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus catalog restore does not properly
    restore file search data.
    File searches  yield no results which prevents initiating file
    restore operations.
    
    Affected versions: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.9 and later
    

Local fix

  • Catalog restore results in file search metadata being restored
    to /data/lucene/lucidx/lucidx.
    Manually move the data to /data/lucene/lucidx directory and
    restart virgo service.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus catalog restore has been fixed.
    Catalog restore process will restore file search metadata to the
    appropriate location on the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus appliance
    allowing for file restore operations.
