Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V12.0 and V11.0 using
SFTP with file nodes.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Current SFTP support with file nodes does not allow the use of
HTTP proxies. A user may want to use an intermediate HTTP proxy
in order to connect to the actual SFTP server.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A new environment variable, named '<span
style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
255)">MQSI_SFTP_HTTP_PROXY', </span>is introduced to support
HTTP proxy with SFTP protocol.  The user can set the HTTP proxy
by using the env variable in either of the following forms

<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
255)">MQSI_SFTP_HTTP_PROXY=</span>http://localhost:1234
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255,
255)">MQSI_SFTP_HTTP_PROXY=localhost:1234</span>
