Error description

• The Global Cache feature in App Connect Enterprise requires the
  internal configuration of a number of server components in order
  to provide a distributed cache that can be used across multiple
  Integration Nodes or Integration Servers. These server
  components are not supported in containerised environments.
  
  
  This APAR provides an alternative implementation suitable for
  use when the cache is scoped only to a single Integration Server
  that does not require the use of server components.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

  orderto provide a distributed cache that can be used across
  multiple Integration Nodes or Integration Servers. These server
  components are not supported in containerized environments.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR provides an alternative implementation suitable for
  use when the cache is scoped only to a single Integration Server
  that does not require the use of server components.  It
  introduces the MbLocalMap class which can be used from Java
  Compute Nodes in order to programtically create local cache
  instances and introduces the server.conf.yaml property
  defaultCacheType to the GlobalCache Resource Manager, when set
  to 'local' this causes maps created using MbGlobalMap to be
  backed by local maps instead of by WXS maps.
