APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the RFH header in MQ message contains invalid character
(e.g. '$'), DataPower XML parser will not be able to process
them and remove them when backout. But the MQMD header is not
recover for the removing and will get MQRC2142 when tyring to
backout such message.

Problem summary

  • When MQ headers includes invalid XML, the MQ messages cannot be
backout.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.20, 10.0.1.7 and 10.5.0.1.
