Error description

  • An error can occur when attempting to online a recently attached
    disk to the Hyper-V host during IBM Spectrum Protect Plus backup
    operation.
    
    The backup job for Hyper-V Virtual Machines could fail with the
    following messages in job log:
    An exception occurred during target volume mapping.  Failed to
    create hypervisor clustered volume. Reason: null
    Backup of virtual machine (VM) <name> has failed. Error: Failed
    to create hypervisor clustered volume. Reason: null

Problem conclusion
