APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • 1. A gateway node has an unexpected crash and restart
    2. The init sequence takes place as it comes up and refreshes
    all catalogs
    3. Another peer can detect that the the crash occurred and
    attempt to clean up the member snapshots for the node.
    If then the webapi init check happens, it will detect that there
    is no snapshot set for a particular catalog and fail the check.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Closes a timing window when a gateway restarts and a peer may
    attempt to clean up after the restart.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix will be in 10.0.1.6
