Error description

  • When IBM App Connect enterprise receives a query WSDL "?wsdl"
HTTP request routed through a proxy server, the SOAP address
contained in the response WSDL does not reflect the HTTP address
of the proxy server. The result is that a dynamic WSDL client
may be unable to access the Web Services hosted by IBM App
    Connect enterprise.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When IBM App Connect enterprise receives a query WSDL "?wsdl"
HTTP request routed through a proxy server, the SOAP address
contained in the response WSDL does not reflect the HTTP address
of the proxy server. The result is that a dynamic WSDL client
may be unable to access the Web Services hosted by IBM App
    Connect enterprise.

Problem conclusion

  • If the incoming HTTP request has any of the following headers
then the value of those headers will get used in determining the
SOAP address contained in the response WSDL returned for a query
    WSDL "?wsdl" HTTP request.

    X-Forwarded-Host
    X-Forwarded-Proto
    X-Forwarded-Port

The product also provides an environment variable that can be
used to specify the HTTP server address to be set in the SOAP
address contained in the response WSDL returned for a query WSDL
    "?wsdl" HTTP request.

    The environment variable is named
"MQSI_HTTP_PROXY_HOST_ADDRESS". The value for the environment
variable may optionally include the HTTP protocol and HTTP port,
    for example:
    set MQSI_HTTP_PROXY_HOST_ADDRESS=proxyhost
    or
    set MQSI_HTTP_PROXY_HOST_ADDRESS=http://proxyhost:8080
