IT39018: DEFAULT STACK SIZE ON WINDOWS IS TOO SMALL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The default stack size on Windows is 1MB in ACE v11 and v12
  whereas it is 2MB in IIB v10. This reduction can cause
  STACK_OVERFLOW_ERROR abends, especially when throwing an
  exception in a catch branch of a message flow.
  

Local fix

• Set the MQSI_THREAD_STACK_SIZE environment variable in
  mqsiprofile.cmd to the integer 2097152 or greater to increase
  the stack size to 2MB+.
