APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the APIC v5/v5c framework rebuilds gateway.xml by
contacting the API Manager to get the new TLS profiles for an
organization, that call may fail and so no profiles will be
available for use by API calls from that organization.

Local fix

  • Force a lifecycle event of the organization to refresh the
    profiles.

Problem summary

  • APIC v5 and v5c enhancement to keep previous TLS profiles in
configuration if APIM cannot be reached.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.19, 10.0.1.6 and 10.0.4.0.
