IT38671: MQSIEXTRACTCOMPONENTS COMMAND FAILS TO MIGRATE SUBFLOWS HAVING EMPTY CONFIGURABLEPROPERTYMAPENTRY AND THROWS BIP8393W

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• mqsiextractcomponents command throws "BIP8393W - A file was
  found whilst processing the backup whose contents could not be
  processed. The file will be ignored and will not be converted"
  for subflows having empty ConfigurablePropertyMapEntry.
  
  mqsiextractcomponents  trace will show additional BIP messages -
  BIP6089E , BIP2113E

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of App Connect Enterprise V11.0 and V12.0 who is using
  mqsiextractcomponents command to migrate from previous versions
  and having subflow with no nodes that supports UDP in it.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The  mqsiextractcomponents command fails to migrate subflow
  having empty configurablepropertymapentry (ie, subflow that has
  no node that support UDP in it)  and will throw BIP8393W
  messages. Also would report the error "Unrecognised entry found
  in ConfigurablePropertyMap" in the trace file.
  

Problem conclusion

• Product is modified such that mqsiextractcomponents command will
  migrate the subflows having empty configurablepropertymapentry
  successfully.
