IT38172: SAP CONNECTIONS THAT ARE REFRESHED DUE TO IDLE TIMEOUT TO NOT LOG RE-CONNECTION ATTEMPTS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the SAP Inbound thread idle timer is active
  (MQSI_SAP_JCO_INBOUND) then SAP connections will automatically
  be refreshed periodically if no new messages have been received.
  However it is not possible to tell when a connection has been
  refreshed because there is no logging to indicate this has
  happened.
  
  This APAR ensures that the connection close and open evens are
  reported using the usual BIP error code. For example:

  All users of IBM Integration Bus version 10.1 or App Connect
  Enterprise version 11 or 12 using the SAP Input Node with the
  environment variable MQSI_SAP_IDLE_JCO_INBOUND set.
