Error description

  • AceSpanTraceExample Transport UserExit does not find TraceParent
    or other transport headers in the MQ RFH2 user folder
    if MQInput node is configured use MQRFH2C compact parser for
    MQRFH2 header

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of App Connect Enterprise V11 and V12 who configure
    their Integration Servers to load the sample AceSpanTraceExample
    user exit or implement a Transport Tracking user exit library
    based on the sample.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The ACE sample Transport User Exit, "AceSpanTraceExample" does
    not find
    "TraceParent" or other transport headers in the MQ RFH2 user
    folder
    when an MQInput node is configured to use the MQRFH2C compact
    parser for
    MQRFH2 header
    

Problem conclusion

  • ACE has been updated such that the ACE sample Transport User
    Exit, "AceSpanTraceExample"
    works correctly when MQInput node is configured with either
    MQRFH2, or  MQRFH2C compact parser for the MQRFH2 header

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
