• Closed as program error.

Error description

• SVC storage devices were added to Storage Insights and the add
  task showed successful completion.  However, the storage devices
  have never shown up in the dashboards or under block storage
  systems.

  java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string:
  "9444732665057870086144"
  
  
  The number above is the physical_free_capacity value returned
  by the SVC.

  physical_free_capacity,9444732167159775494144
  
  The value returned is tracked with SVC APAR HU01916 and can be
  addressed by upgrading to a fixed firmware level.

  The Storage Insights APAR is intended to address handling the
  NumberFormatException that prevents the storage device from
  showing up.
  

Local fix

• Upgrade SVC firmware to address SVC APAR HU01916 to avoid this
  error situation.
