USERS AFFECTED:
Java and .NET client applications consuming messages under an MQ
syncpoint.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Whilst processing rollback of a doomed transaction in MQBACK,
some transactional messages temporarily stored in the client may
not be fully purged, resulting in duplicate messages if the
client resumed consumption on the same connection.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • During rollback, additional checks are made to ensure all
transaction messages are purged.
