Error description

  • Using IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, a log backup failure for
    Microsoft SQL database can be caused by a IBM Spectrum Protect
    Plus SQL Agent crash.
    The failure messages seen in the job log can vary.
    This APAR applies when the following type of message is seen in
    the Windows event log of the SQL server at the time of failure:
