Error description

  • Optional empty elements may be present in the Mapping node's
Move transform output. This can happen when using the XMLNS
domain and input is
optional and the required output element has an optional parent
element.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of IIB V10 and App Connect V11, V12 which have XMLNS
domain Mapping nodes with Move transforms when there are
optional elements on the input and output


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Optional empty elements may be present in the Mapping node's
Move transform output. This can happen when using the XMLNS
domain and the input is
optional and the required output element has an optional parent
element.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Optional elements are removed from the output. To revert to the
old behaviour before this change, the environment variable
GDM_MAP_OUTPUT_NULL_FOR_MISSING_INPUT has to be set to any value
