Error description
The installation (new or upgrade) of the IBM Spectrum Protect client versions 8.1.12.0 or 7.1.8.11 triggers some ownership / permissions changes of C:\IBM subtree. If there are other IBM products installed which need access to the same subtree, that may cause permission problems with these other IBM products. Local fix
Adjust the permissions of the C:\IBM folder as needed after the client installation is done.
