APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When events are being processed by the gateways in parallel
under certain timing windows the last processed event
acknowledgment may not be sent back to the API Manager. Without
this acknowledgment being sent API Manager will show that these
events are still waiting for completion and will continue to
wait for gateways to send the acknowledgement forever.

Local fix

  • Sending a snapshot from the API Manager, for instance by setting
the webhook subscription to online with the apicops tool, should
result in the gateway processing the snapshot and sending all
the necessary acknowledgments back to API Manager.

Problem summary

  • Gateway may not send last processed event to api manager due to
a timing window.

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 10.0.1.4.
