Error description

  • When an SQL call succeeds and SQL_NO_DATA (return code 100) is
returned the call is also allowed to return
some text to explain why the database returned it. This error
text is no longer being reported.

All users of IBM Integration Bus 10.0 and IBM App Connect
Enterprise 11.0 and 12.0 using ODBC connectivity on Unix and
Linux platforms


Platforms affected:
AIX, HP-UX Itanium platform, Linux on Power platform, Linux on
x86-64 platform, Linux on zSeries platform, Solaris x86-64
platform, Solaris SPARC platform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When an SQL call succeeds and SQL_NO_DATA (return code 100) is
returned, under the ODBC specification the call is also allowed
to return some text to explain why the database found no
matching data.
This error text is not being populated.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product includes an updated IBM Integration ODBC Database
Extender (IE02) driver manager package that resolves the
problem.
