APAR status

Error description

  • Under a specific set of conditions where Datapower's resources
    are in contention for a shared resource; the MQ
    process/connections can cause a situation where we are stuck in
    a wait state; waiting for our chance to grab the resources until
    the box hangs.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • DataPower could be reloaded when mq-qm is down and cache timeout
    is expired.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.18 and 10.0.1.5.
