APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If CLI command "show ntp-service" is entered followed by a
command to enter an object and exit, it will trigger a false
"save configuration" webgui banner.

For example:
  show ntp-service

  domain x
  exit

Local fix

  • Do not use show ntp-service command and enter an object and
exit.

Problem summary

  • "show ntp-service" and "show timezone" commands update
a localtime field which is readonly.
On next configuration these changes get incorrectly picked up
as config changes.

Problem conclusion

  • Set these as unpersisted fields to effectivly ignore then time
updates from the management store perspective.

Fixed In: 2018.4.1.18, 10.0.1.5
