Error description

  • When mqsipackagebar command is executed with -c and -i flags,
the trace -v option will not work and the command will exit with
    NullPointerException.
Also, when the -c and -i flags are present, the command exits if
-w option is not specified, instead of assuming it is the
    current directory.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When mqsipackagebar command is executed with -c and -i flags,
the trace -v option will not work and the command will exit with
    NullPointerException.
Also, when the -c and -i flags are present, the command exits if
-w option is not specified, instead of assuming it is the
    current directory.

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsipackagebar command works with -c and -v flags. When
precompile the runtime resources -c flag with trace -v flags are
set, a new separate trace file is created with the "_I" suffix
appended to the name. This file will contain the trace created
during the precompile phase. E.g. if the name of the trace file
is trace.txt, the two trace files will be created - trace.txt
    and trace_I.txt
