APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After booting the gateway for a period of time the webapi will
    work then fail to configure any further changes or updates.  The
    logs may show:
    [xsltmsg][info] xmlfirewall(xml-mgmt):
    tid(123)[request][clientIp] gtid(1234abcd): SOAP: Session
    Authentication failure
    The only fix or work around is to reboot DataPower then no
    further authentication failures will be seen.
    

Local fix

  • reboot DataPower.
    

Problem summary

  • The APIC Gateway Service can now come up even if the admin user
    was locked out.
