Error description
After using Storage Insights to open a ticket for a storage device (FlashSystem 5000, Storwize V7000, etc), the new ticket number is displayed in the Storage Insights Tickets tab for the storage device. The ticket number is not valid, but no error is given to indicate that the ticket does not exist. Logs cannot be uploaded to the invalid ticket. Invalid ticket number examples: USEOC,SQM,JLC USE0C,SQM,HTL USE0C,SQM,KC9

None. Open support tickets outside of Storage Insights until resolved.

Problem conclusion
The fix for this APAR is included in the following release: IBM Storage Insights 2Q21 [ 54X-IBM-SI ] The hardware migration occurred over the weekend of June 19, 20201 for US customers and this will no longer be an issue for them.
