IT36831: REPLICATION STILL HANDLES THE VMS EXCLUDED FROM BACKUPS OR REMOVED FROM VCENTER

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus still tries to replicate the virtual
  machines which are excluded from backups or removed from
  vCenter. The job log shows the corresponding vSnap volume is
  skipped because there are no new snapshots since last backup:
  
  CTGGA0289,Skipping volume <volume-name> because there are no new
  snapshots since last backup
  
  However those excluded or removed virtual machines are still
  counted in final statistics summary and displayed as failed ones
  which is incorrect. For example:
  
  SUMMARY,1617606519216,<date+time+timezone>,2,CTGGA0072,Total VMs
  replicated: 40 failed: 20. Duration 10 min(s) 20 second(s)
  
  And final status of the replication job is PARTIAL.
  
  Versions affected: 10.1.7 and later
