Error description

  • The KafkaConsumer and KafkaProducer nodes will leak a small
amount of Java heap memory if they fail to establish a
connection to the Kafka broker. This can accumulate over time
and become noticeable if frequent connection errors are
    experienced by the message flow.

The root cause of this issue
is that the Kafka nodes do not correctly clean up all Kafka
connection resources before discarding a failed connection.
