APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Trace node keeps the file handle opened until the flow get
stopped and it prevent deletion of the trace node output file
created by the node while the flow is running. Once the trace
node is turned off by running mqsichangetrace command, then
during the processing of the subsequent input message the trace
node detects that tracing is disabled and then it closes off
the file handle that it opened.

All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11.0 and IBM
Integration Bus V10.0 using the trace node.


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When trace nodes are included in a message flow and they are
disabled via mqsichangetrace command, the trace node still keeps
the file handle open until the message flow is stopped . This
prevents the deletion of the output file created by the trace
node while the flow is running.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product has been modified such that output file created by
trace node can be deleted once the trace nodes are turned off
using mqsichangetrace command.
