APAR status

Error description

  • If you have configured preemptiveAuthType, under
    ComIbmSocketConnectionManager, for Outbound requests from
    HTTP/SOAP/REST request nodes, you may see the configuration
    being ignored occasionally. It happens when the outbound
    request uses a cached socket from an earlier connection. The
    failure is more evident when using NTLM/kerberos authentication
    tokens.

    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">pre-emptive
    authentication.</span>

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    If you have configured preemptiveAuthType, under
    ComIbmSocketConnectionManager, for Outbound requests from

    being ignored occasionally. It happens when the outbound request

Problem conclusion

  • The product no longer fails to ignore <span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">preemptiveAuthType
    setting while using the cached socket connections.</span>
